So yeah. Season 2 premiere of Supernatural. Which I was wound up about anyway because I had class first thing this morning so I had to set the torrent up before I left the house and couldn't babysit it and the power went out so it hadn't downloaded when I got home and I was Cranky. With a capital Tantrum.

And I'll cut this because I'm nice. Not that anyone on my flist watches it as far as I know but here be spoilers just in cases. Plus you know, incoherant and rambly here.

In My Time of Dying )

In conclusion. Wibble.

I was going to make some kind of post about shit, ya know random things. Like a pic spam of my YFC club's dinner dance which was about eight million kinds of cool or the fact that I bought Dita Von Teese's book and I want to grow up to be her. Maybe I'd talk about the fact that my iPod is deader than the proverbial dodo now that the mains charger has kicked the bucket and it hasn't plugged into the USB in fucking months!

But something else happened. Something of earth shattering painful beauty. Somethng that hit everything with a pulse right in the baddirtywrongbutSOright. In conclusion: Jensen.

I.......I'll be in my bunk.

No update for more than a week, most irregular. What random shit have I been up to let's see....

Had both my exams for Film Studies on Tuesday morning. And yes, it is official, Keira Knightley is out to get me. Open the extra material for the paper on producers and audiences, Q. 4, something along the lines of "Why is it important for the British film industry to have internationally recognisable stars. Discuss using your own case studies and the posters provided in item B all of which feature British actress Keira Knightley." If it hadn't been exam conditions there would have been an absolute shriek of rage. The lads were all highly pleased though. No taste any of them. But yeah, that's AS all finished, out of my hands now thank fook. Think I did alright although I know my answer to that question in particular was bollocks, it was a get half way through and realise "Shit, should have done the other question!" kind of deal. Nevermind, I'll still kick some arse.

Tuesday was also the Sib's birthday. She's now 20 which I have decided I shall not allow. She must always be 19 so I can boss her about!

Finished watching series 2 of Hex last night. LOVE. Serious love people. Though wtf is up with me liking characters I used to hate at the moment. First Mickey the Idiot in Dr. Who and now bloody Leon! I mean... Leon? The character who, in series 1, was the utter distillation of every little bastard I went to school with suddenly becomes a genuine, sensitive, funny as hell little woobie? WHY AM I SUDDENLY ON THE OPPOSITE PLANET?! OK, he did get a bit gratingly emo occasionally but if the girl you'd just risked life, limb and expulsion for was busy making goo-goo eyes at the guy who was supposed to be her mortal enemy and completely ignoring you I think you'd be a might peeved and pouty too. Besides, you can't help but love a character who springs someone from a loony bin wearing a shirt that says "Do not annoy the medicated person".

Though I am narked at you Sky One. Be grateful I don't actually get you and am reduced to waiting for DVD's or stealing acquiring episodes or there would be a Richardson family boycott. You bloody axed it! There was all that kick ass stuff you could have done with the nephilim (who you didn't use enough btw)and a full-on heaven/hell war thing and you fookin denied us a third series. Not. Happy.

Until I remember the YFC rally and I get a stupid grin on my face. Quick run-down because I'm sure all this YFC stuff is bugging the crap out of all of you. The rally was last Saturday and was much fun even though it pissed it down with rain all. bleedin. day. We didn't get very far in the tug of war and all got very muddy because after we won the first pull and had proved how 'ard we all were we squealed like girls and fell over when the other team let go of the rope.
Harmston came second overall, not bad and we came second last year so we managed to defend our title.
Or so we thought. Yesterday Ellie gets a phonecall from Shirl the county organiser. There was a mis-count on the day.

WE ONLY BLOODY WON THE FOOKING RALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON WE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you can tell I'm a little excited by this news. But this really is a big BIG deal. Wragby have won the damn thing seven years in a bloody row and we beat them. Trounced them one might say. As far as Harmston's advisory members, some of whom are 50 odd so they were members quite a while back, can recall Harmston have never, ever won the rally. Plus, we get to take the cup from Chloe's smug little hands and leave her with the knowledge that the year she was Chair was the year their reign ended. Vindictive? Me? You betcher ass!

Dinner dance is going to be such a victory shin-dig now, seeing as we were robbed of it on the day. You wait, tommorrow Shirl will phone and say "oops, we mis-counted again, Horncastle actually won!"

Yay Monday! Wooo! Or, y'know, not. blech.

Anywhore, rehearsal last night. 50th verse same as the first. Blah blah, it was rubbish, whinge whinge, 3 weeks to performance, set needs painting, no-one knows theire lines or blocking, moan moan. You know how the song goes by now. Except last night I so nearly got a lead part. The Cat was nearly mine! Geordie Louise picked 2 of us out the chorus and said they needed a new cat because Amy was crap wasn't happy doing it. So I flung myself at it and now have 3 inch bruises on each knee for no apparent reason. Cheers guys, I'll just be over here suffering for my art, woe *staples hand to forehead*.

Ah fook it. Actually, I don't know what's going on at the moment, I'm bloody giggly. GIGGLY. I'm sitting here catching sight of random things like my icon and grinning like a loon. I blame malnutrition, maybe Special K has E in it? You don't actually lose any weight but by the end of two weeks you just don't give a shit!

Speaking of things that make me happy. It's Monday, which means Life on Mars and Supernatural. Can I get a hell yeah?! And in their honour and because I am apparently just that much of a dork I bring you pic spam of the Brothers Not So Grimm.

Behold the pretty! )

There would have been love for the Life on Mars crew as well but photobucket threw its toys at me.

YFC last night, supposedly to be held in the pub because the hall was
double booked, but I think the pub must have had a nasty case of the
black plague or something because despite checking that morning
that everything was ok, there was a big sign outside saying closed due
to illness! The words, piss up, brewery and couldn't organise a
floated into my brain for some reason.........

So we all decamped to Dan's fucking huge house, where he proceeded to
hide everyone's left shoe after they took them off. Funny guy. I got
seized by another fit of "I want to join in"-itis and am now entering
the county 10 pin bowling (Ellie, Emily and I are going to be a team
and see if we can score the least points out of everyone!), taking
Alan's place on the Intermediate Brainstrust panel at the East
Midlands final in Skeg in March and for the Rally in May I'm on the
girl's tug of war team, cooking a three course meal with Emma and Pete
(mmm burnt and crunchy) and, and this is where I must have really gone
bonkers, doing a cheerleading routine. Yep, fucking cheerleading,
though if I'm going down the Sib's coming with me because I
volunteered her. Ha!

The cooking has to be on the theme of "At the movies". I think we
should serve liver with fava beans and a nice chianti.

Watching "A Clockwork Orange" in class today. Everyone I know loves it
at the same time as agreeing that it's twisted. I'm kind of worried
that if I hate it I'll be branded a narrow minded, prudish, philistine
and be forced to hand in my movie geek card or something!

In other news, I have a new fandom. The pilot of Supernatural got
shown over here on Monday, well Sunday really but my fucking digi-box
is knacking fuckered so I saw the repeat, YUM! Me likee and not just
'cos of the pretty though god knows I love me some pretty. The lack of
icon must be remedied forthwith.
